Warren Beatty, 85, memorably played Dick Tracy in the film of the same name back in 1990. The colorful homage made over $160 million at the box office, featured an incredible cast and it won three Oscars — Makeup, Art Direction and Original Song.
Due to a stipulation in Beatty's contract, he has revisited the project periodically in order to keep hold of the rights.
