A host of luminaries from the entertainment world got together for the latest annual installment of Broadway Backwards, in which men sing songs traditionally meant for women — and vice versa.
I attended one of these years ago (review here) and loved it, getting a chance to see and hear a 99-year-old Patricia Morison perform one last time on the Great White Way.
This edition wasn't all live (using some new and many past performances), but it's still terrific, and includes newer talents like Darren Criss and veterans like Chita Rivera, Glenn Close, Cherry Jones, Eve Plumb, Brian Stokes Mitchell and more.
