This piece is inspiring in that it shows how upbeat she is in the face of so many issues, and also how loving her close friend and caregiver is. I remember meeting her and telling her when I was growing up my dad had her Playboy under his mattress. Referring to her famous cleavage, she quipped, "They're retired!"
VARIETY: Richard Lewis, 75, has announced his retirement from stand-up due to a Parkinson's diagnosis of his own. "I'm on the right meds," he said. "It's cool."
