1984: Just this past week, 1984 Publishing launched the final memoir from the late Roxette singer Marie Fredriksson, Listen to My Heart: Life, Love & Roxette, written with Helena von Zweigbergk. As you may know, Fredriksson — the voice of no. 1 hits "Listen to Your Heart," "It Must Have Been Love," "The Look" and "Joyride" — died in 2019 after battling cancer since 2002. This newly published work comes in a special edition that includes her English-language solo CD The Change from 2004, the first time it has been released in North America, with her last recording, "Sea of Love" from 2017, as a bonus.

KENNETH IN THE (212): Max's Last Call doc, about a series of gay murders that took place mostly in the early '90s (at least two other killings in the '80s could be the work of the same man), is a jarring reminder of how loathed gay men were then — and probably still are today, in many cases. It's a great doc, they do reveal the killer and there is a twist.
