No, The Nanny (1993-1998) isn't being rebooted ... but we're getting something almost as nostalgic!

Variety has confirmed that the original cast — minus the late Ann Morgan Guilbert (1928-2016) — will reunite for a virtual table read on April 6.
Fran Drescher, 62, said in a statement:
“Laughter is the best medicine! So, in these challenging times, Petah [Peter Marc Jacobson] and I thought, wouldn’t it be great if we pulled together the original cast of The Nanny for a virtual read of the pilot? It’s a once in a lifetime Pandemic Performance for our fans around the world who are currently stressing in isolation and could use a real upper! It sure has given each of us a lift and we hope it does for you as well.”
James Marsden, 46, who was Eddie on two episodes, is the only actor from the pilot who is not returning.
