Betty White & Carol Channing’s 3 ‘Love Boat’ Showstoppers!

Of course, we'll never get tired of talking about Betty White, the enduring TV legend who died at 99 on New Year's Eve, less than three weeks shy of turning 100.

In their nonsinging roles, Carol was doing a total Rose Nylund, even before Rose was "born"! (Image via ABC)

Now, as part of my monumental Love Boat post, I wanted to share this treat — three production numbers starring Betty and Carol Channing (1921-2019) from their numerous appearances on the '70s/'80s series.

The girls sang "Together, Wherever We Go" from Gypsy (1959), "Two a Day" from Parade (1960) and "Bosom Buddies" from Mame (1966).

Those Love Boat Mermaids (even boasting Teri Hatcher) really were nonessential workers, no?
